Striving for Progress with
Determine and Pursuing for Excellence

I. Forwards
Following the trend of diversified and opening time, we need to learn the most advanced science and technology, increase students’ competitive ability in the employment market, provide students with unimpeded channel for advancing to higher schools, and help them to build up sound foundation in the pursuance of profound knowledge. It is our duty to shape students into the backbone of the society as well as the elite of the country. Apart from this, we should help every student to develop correct outlooks on life, morals and values and become an optimistic and aggressive young people useful to the society.
II. Growth and Joy
(I) Reorganization of School: Peter F. Drucker, a management expert, pointed out in “Harvard Business Review” that, “The development of information technology will promote reform of organization.” In view of this, we will apply the concept of reorganization to administration of school affairs. Especially, emphasis will be placed on reasonable organizational structure, clear-cut division of duties, and effective and public employment of funds in order to create a harmonious and mutual-aid campus environment and build a school organization with strong competitive ability.
(II) In recent years, in order to provide students with a happy and safe learning environment, we invested a lot of money to expand our teaching facilities, for example, completion and start using of Hung Yi Building, etc., which allowing students to obtain a thoughtful care and complete service in meals, clothing, residence and transportation. Improvement of teaching quality: In the atmosphere of diligent study, our student performed quite well with outstanding achievements in annual scientific exhibition, skill contests, university and college joint entrance examination, qualification examination and licensing examination.
(III) Establishment of an e-mobilized teaching environment: We have installed an Internet network to link with the network regional center. Owing to the active promotion of network teaching, distance instructions and lifelong learning, and in the aid of complete software and hardware equipment, the computer operating ability of our teachers and students are enhanced and thus is able to match with the implementation of basic national information construction policy.
(IV) The 21st century is a network time. It changes dramatically form minute to minute no matter in social system, economic structure or even the educational system. As education workers, we should have new ways of thinking and prepare ourselves for new challenges by enriching ourselves with professional skills and enhancing our service spirit. Education is not only instillation of knowledge, but also development of ability. It cultivates students’ interest in learning and helps them to apply knowledge to solve problems and increase value of life. For us, the reform in administration of school affairs, teaching and service spirit should be practically carried out. To attain the goal concretely, we should accumulate and share our information and experience in teaching, academic affairs, and consultation and guidance; implement and amend our knowledge management; encourage and establish e-mobilized learning system for teachers and students effectively; provide an interactive and unobstructed communication between teachers and students in order to solve problems and clarify questions for them immediately.
III. Challenge and Obstacles Surmounting
We can do what the public schools can’t. Under the full support of the Board of Directors, we have established a flexible administrative system free of restrictions that can be found in traditional schools. Therefore, we are able to provide students with the most complete and perfect care and attention.
(II) Licensing system: Almost 100% of our students are able to pass the licensing examination successfully. Such an achievement is far ahead of the other schools.
(III) Operation of the school with the funds sponsored by parents: Based on the concept of “what is taken from students is used in the interests of students”, we deeply understand the students’ rights and interests to receive good education and the expectation of their parents. For this reason, we specially ask all homeroom teachers to conduct telephone interviews and family visiting practically in order to establish complete guidance information, enhance guidance of students’ life, and understand their stress of academic work and life through good interaction between school and family and between teachers and school. We hope that students will develop a sound character in addition to good academic work. Also, we invite parents to participate in class-parent meeting and parental association, so that they will be given opportunity to know the school well, pay attention to their children’s education, and further to affirm the contribution of the school. In this way, the win-win-win situation can be created among parents, teachers and students.
IV. Objectives and Ideals
(I) Stressing the education of
morals and character
“Teacher is the one who instructs, provides job and solves problems.” The instruction of teacher and the learning of student should not merely stress the acquisition of knowledge and skills, but also emphasize the raising of a perfect character in order to make preparation for exerting the value of life. The most ideal education is holistic education. However, the students of vocational schools and technical institutes which stress professional techniques, have to decide majoring in which subject very early; whereas the students of senior high schools which stress entrance to universities, have to concentrate their efforts in studying academic knowledge. Therefore, our school shall strengthen the education of morals and character, as well as life education so as to model the students to be talents with outstanding academic knowledge and moral conducts.
(II) Realizing the teaching practices
With a long-sighted and perspective vision, our school renews the education methods, designs the contents of courses according to different subjects, strengthens the technical practices and lets students achieve vocational certificates or licenses, hoping that they can become the backbone elements in the commercial and industrial fields after graduation.
With its good environment and highly-qualified teachers, our school assists those who are willing to further their studies after graduation. Focusing on the merits of individuals, we help them to take part in entrance examinations for various universities, senior colleges, four-year diploma programs or upper-two undergraduate program in order to meet the students’ needs of knowledge seeking and further studies, and fulfill the ideals of complete development of human resources.
(IV) Plan the underground construction projects
To meet the needs of diversified learning and long-term development of our school, we have been positively planning the purchase of the land of the second campus and the establishment of teaching buildings. Meanwhile, in order to make the full of the three-dimensional space and compensate the inadequate land for development, we are planning the establishment of a synthetic building of catering management and the underground construction project of the existing campus.
V. Urgings and Expectations

foundation of being a human being.
