When it was established in 1963 by Mr. Jiang, Dianrong, Li-Chih was a high school focused on infusing students knowledge they need for their further study in the college. Then, in 1968, Li-Chih transformed into a vocational school corresponding to the need and trend of the society to grow various kinds of technicians. In 1993, as the vocational department still runs better and better, the school reopened the department of high school, which includes both junior high school and senior high school. Li-Chih is now a big school consisting of more than 5,100 students learning various kinds of knowledge here.
